Electronical Reeds continues to be one of the most assured outlets for quality house music with this small but well-formed release from O.D Math. He serves up a great dancefloor anthem with Deliverance, and the package is bolstered by BPitch Control man Kiki, who turns out a prodigious remix.
O.D.Math has been a part of Belgian music scene for over 10 years. He has residencies at clubs in Brussels as well as the South of France, and continually serves up dark, Berlin style vibes. That’s the case here with Deliverance, a bouncy tech house cut with rasping bass, propulsive drums and sharp synths that will bring everyone together as one on the dancefloor. It’s a thick and chunky groove that gets trimmed down to a more minimal and shuffling affair by Kiki. Kiki has long been a famed BPitch Control producer with a number of great EPs, LPs and mix compilations under his belt. His track, with its slowly exploding bass and percussive tension is just the sort of thing that will become anthem this summer, when dropped on the right terraces. Yet again, Electronical Reeds are on to a winner with this one.
